Our Organization

Since our inception in 2005, the Sandhills Natural History has been committed to supporting and inspiring nature enthusiasts (SNHS By-Laws). Our community is made up of individuals who are passionate about the natural world and share a common desire to learn more about it. Our events are designed to provide members with opportunities to connect with nature and like-minded individuals. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced naturalist, our society offers something for everyone. Join us today!

SNHS Information

If you are interested in joining us, please come to one of our monthly meetings or come along on one of our field trips to learn about nature in our area and to get to know others in the group.

SNHS Merchandise

Show your support for the Sandhills Natural History Society!  Purchase merchandise that features the SNHS logo designed by local artist Hal Broadfoot!

SNHS puts out selected clothing items for display at each of our monthly meetings. Purchases can be made directly by cash or check (made out to Sandhills Natural History Society);  see the merchandise person or the Treasurer at the meeting.
